Equal Rights for Divorced Fathers (ERDF) believes readers deserve to know who owns, funds, and operates the publications they rely on for news. This page describes our ownership structure, funding sources, and any affiliations that could be relevant to how readers evaluate our reporting.
Ownership
equalrightsfordivorcedfathers.com is owned and operated by its founding editorial group, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The site is independently owned; it is not owned by, controlled by, or operated on behalf of any political party, government agency, law firm, or for-profit corporation outside of its publishing operation. The publication is led by Michael Franklin, Editor-in-Chief.
Funding Sources
ERDF is supported by a combination of: (1) display advertising and affiliate programs that appear on the site, (2) reader contributions and event sponsorships tied to our partner fatherhood-support events, and (3) revenue from related advocacy programs operated by the same editorial group, such as the Fatherhood Support Network’s annual fundraising dinner and charity golf tournament. We do not currently receive funding from any political action committee, political party, or candidate for public office.
Advertising Relationships
Advertisers and affiliate partners have no input into our editorial decisions, do not preview content before publication, and cannot remove or modify published articles. Sponsored content is clearly labeled. Affiliate links may earn us a commission and are disclosed where applicable.
Affiliations
ERDF’s editorial group is affiliated with community fatherhood-support initiatives in Nevada, including the Fatherhood Support Network. These affiliations are disclosed in any article that discusses those programs.
